  • Can I make a SaaS web application on the inSCADA Platform?
Yes you can. inSCADA platform is a multi-tenant and scalable application. You can develop SaaS applications on small, medium and large scales. For a small-scale application, it will be sufficient to connect the computer on which the inSCADA Platform is installed to the internet and direct the inSCADA Service ports (default http port 8081, https: 8082) to your WAN IP. Thanks to its multi-tenant structure, you can create isolated areas (user spaces) on the platform for your customers. If you have a lot of customers and you want to meet the demands of all of these customers uninterruptedly and quickly (clients > 500), you will need to move on to the scaling step. Thanks to the scalable architecture of the inSCADA platform, you can do this scaling on physical servers, virtual servers, docker container systems or with services you rent from cloud service providers. For applications of this size, you may need to get support from human resources and professionals who are experts in the field.
